Dr Marten's strikes back

Dr. Marten is one of those brands that will always have a significant cult following. It’s safe to say that as long as there are disenfranchised youth somewhere, Dr Marten will have a solid constituency. and now is the time for dr marten strike back with their new collection and innovation.
Dr. Martens take a simple yet fresh approach at two of their models with a "Made in Monochrome" series that will be coming out this Fall/Winter 2008/09. The collection features two shoes from the 1460 series - an 8 eyelet boot and a 3 eyelet shoe - the "Made in Monochrome" series stripped things down to only the essentials and provide very clean, sophisticated yet effortless looks.

Glastonbury Festival

Just a bit info about Glastonbury festival which is including either one of me and my bf's dreams. all this time we're only watch it at youtube, we're so excited to see the people, you know, everyone coming together for the same thing. Everyone wandering around, and basically seeing all the bands and taking in the atmosphere.

Glastonbury Festival is the largest greenfield music and performing arts festival in the world and a template for all the festivals that have come after it. The difference is that Glastonbury has all the best aspects of being at a Festival in one astonishing bundle.
It's like going to another country, a hip and thrilling Brigadoon that appears every year or so. Coming to Glastonbury involves a fair amount of travel, and probably a queue to get in but, when you get past these impediments, you enter a huge tented city, a mini-state under canvas. British law still applies, but the rules of society are a bit different, a little bit freer. Everyone is here to have a wild time in their own way.
The Festival site has distinct socio-geographic regions. The more commercial aspects are around the Pyramid, Other and Dance stages, which feels as if the West End of London a Saturday night has been removed to a field and thoroughly beautified. Unlike the West End, visitors are on every guest list, from the night time cinemas to the biggest gigs. But that busy whirl of excitement is not to everyone's taste.
The Festival takes place in a beautiful location - 900 acres in the Vale of Avalon, an area steeped in symbolism, mythology and religious traditions dating back many hundreds of years. It's where King Arthur may be buried, where Joseph of Arimathea is said to have walked, where leylines converge. And the site is ENORMOUS - more than a mile and a half across, with a perimeter of about eight and a half miles.
The first Festival was held on the day after Jimi Hendrix died, over a two day period and before long “word had got around”. It was the Blues festival at the Bath & West Showground that had inspired Michael Eavis to begin a festival of his own although on a smaller scale.

fumbling the future

Found a flaw in the ending of a book that I've read twice
I set her straight, it's not based on my life.
There's tension in this room, We both blind to look forward
Fumbling 'round in the dark with a flashlight.
No need to be uncalm
We'll leave it by the phone
A message you can swallow
A letter to sign
No need to be alarmed
We'll leave this all alone
And all the guilt will follow you in a line.
We travel to the past by memory
Imagination’s what our future will be?
